Highly recommend. Definitely should try to rent ahead of time to be sure they have a car for you. They are located in a small shop across the street from the pier where it cruise ship docked -very convenient. Upfront information helped make our paperwork time quick with no surprises. Be sure you are insured as they do not offer insurance as an option. We had a Mazda tribute in great condition which was very comfortable for the 4 of us but could also seat 5. Unlimited mileage, pleasant owners. Shop where you pick up the rental also houses items made by local Haines artisans. Owners provided some good information about the local areas - what to possibly see bear and moose, jumping salmon as they were everywhere when we went end of August. Can't say enough. To think we were almost going to pay twice as much through a brand name rental agency before finding Lynn's. Great rooms for a better price than the hotels in town. Wifi is provided free and fast enough for general browsing. I didn't stay at Lynn View but did rent two vehicles from them for a week and the whole process couldn't have been better. The rates were extremely competitive compared to other places in town, and they even had the cars waiting for us at the ferry dock when we landed. On our ferry out, we were allowed to leave them at the ferry dock again and they would come pick them up later. I highly recommend them for affordable car rentals while in Haines. We had a fantastic week in Haines at the Lynn View Lodge. Killeen and Brad took great care to make sure our stay was one to remember. Car rentals on site were convenient and affordable. Called a week prior to my flight to book a vehicle. No one showed up or picked up the phone. Left me there in Haines with no transportation.
