Arrived in Haines for the very first time at around 3pm and this shop was the first place I stopped. After a very long ferry ride, I thought to myself, it'd be great to have a nice cup of espresso. As I came in, i noticed there were 3 different checkout stations. Given I wanted coffee, I stood in the line where the coffee station was located. I stood there for a good 5 minutes, but after NO help and NO warning, I had see a sign that said I had to pay for my coffee at a different checkout station. Before I went there, I grab a few items, and brought them to the checkout stand. As I began telling my coffee order to the lady at the checkout stand, she completely stopped me mid sentence and rudely and disrespectfully began saying that their coffee station closes at 2pm. Like I mentioned before, I have NEVER been to Haines or that shop in general so it wasn't apparent. If this is how you treat a customer in Haines, than I'm never going back to Haines again. ok food. it's healthy at least I guess. could be fresher and the staff could be nicer. Hippie store, but it's okay for the most part if you like the hippy health food Lots of vegan options and great coffee:) Clean. Good uncommon grocery selection. Food selections very limited. Prices quite high.
