Reviews are correct. Seafood chowder IS excellent. Service is incredibly slow - bring a BOOK, you'll finish it. First time waited 45 mins for a baked potato and bowl of lukewarm soup. 2nd visit the entire section by the windows was reserved and the waitress allowed a patron to reserve a table as an afterthought just as we were about to sit down at it. The only table left had one only one chair so the best they could do is suggest we sit at the bar. We left for the Fireweed Restaurant which was very good and fast. Can't say how the other food is, never got that far. The 2 stars is for the soup. Good food and friendly staff. Good place to spend time if you are waiting for the Alaska Marine Highway ferry. Small dining area. Best Fish and Chips Ever!!!! Poor waitress was stretched too thin but we just relaxed and waited our turn....it was worth the wait. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Food was good and had attached bar area for drinks and pool. Great view, right near the water. Excellent seafood chowder! Friendly staff! Great view!
