Amy and Paul run an absolutely awesome service. Amy was warm and wonderfully accommodating in getting us set up for our flight and provided some great local advice on how to spend our short time in Haines. Paul was as-advertised; his experience obvious, and his passion for what he does abundant. We felt, from the onset, to be in very capable hands and entirely safe. He even met my constant barrage of questions about the area, terrain, and many backcountry adventures he's facilitated with good humor and vast knowledge. Scott Moore-Travel and Cruise World (Winter Haven, FL) Our family's cruise itinerary took us to Skagway on a Sunday; apparently the one day of the week with limited high speed ferry service to and from Haines. We opted to take the ferry to Haines and return by air primarily for sake of our schedule, but also to enjoy the scenery from a different perspective. We were cheerfully greeted by Amy at her office and she generously offered to drive us to the Mountain Flying Service hanger at the Haines airport where we waited for Paul to return from another flight to pick us up. After a quick tour and some great photo ops Paul landed and taxied to the hanger in what has to be the finest example of a De Havilland Beaver, THE iconic Alaskan bush plane, in Alaska. Not surprising, as the Bush Hawk inside the hanger was also immaculate. I can't say enough about the genuinely friendly, courteous and professional service provided by both Amy and Paul. We are already planning our next Alaskan cruise for June 2014 and can't wait to book and enjoy another flight with Mountain Flying Services. Thank you, Amy and Paul!
