Clean, comfortable, good value. Great customer service. Myself and a group of friends were supposed to be camping but the weather was terrible. We didn't have a reservation so we went and spoke to the receptionist there, who was friendly and smiley! The rate was a little above what we had expected however she gave us a good discount. The suites are a great size; double bed, desk, little kitchenette area, pull out sofa, bathroom with shower and bath option. Bonus: complimentary toiletries that smelled amazing. Definitely the newest property in Haines.. very very clean... Located right across the street from a grocery store...but definitely centrally located. Front desk was helpful... Great service, big bathrooms and comfy beds. It's right across a nice bakery and a local brewery. The entrance door is right by the parking lot, but the door is a bit heavy and it can be misleading, since there's no sign and all doors from the hotel look the same. There's coffee and tea at the reception and free WiFi. ...nice rooms with kitchenette and full size fridge...on the main rd only blocks from the ocean This hotel is by far the best one in Haines. Extremely affordable with a government rate discount, and you get a bang for your buck. The rooms include a half size kitchen with cooking supplies, a comfortable cozy bed, and luxurious bathroom. The only downfall is that the office closes between 10pm and 7am; therefore, if you're trying to beat the border crossing time (midnight), make sure to schedule your room reservations ahead of time that way you aren't left in the cold (Our lack of research lead to that). Aside from that, we are extremely pleased with the room, accommodations, and friendly staff.
