Such a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring Haines. Wonderful sourdough bread in the morning, great coffee, and a cozy living room to curl up with a book. Great location. The best place we could find in Haines! The house is full of comfort, kindness and we felt like home! Thank you ♡ Stayed here in 2015. The owner/proprietor made me very uncomfortable. I had greeted him one morning, and he responded with,"breakfast is in half an hour, please sit down". I sat down at the kitchen table and he demanded that I sit in the living room instead. The following morning, I had proceeded directly to the living room, Greeting him as I walked by. He yelled at me for "sneaking up on him". Someone this irritable should not charge people money to stay at his house. I felt more like I was sharing a house with an irritable roommate than a paying guest. I stayed the following night at a hotel, where I had much more privacy and didn't feel as though I was walking on eggshells. Excellent B&B! Great location in central Haines and the best way to start or end your Alaskan exploration! Incredible host, fantastic beds and wonderful experiece!!
